Wendell Berry

Wendell Berry is a poet and the author of fiction that includes Hannah Coulter, A Place on Earth, Remembering, Fidelity, The Memory of Old Jack, A World Lost and Jayber Crow. Among his essay books are The Way of Ignorance, Blessed Are the Peacemakers, The Unforeseen Wilderness, Another Turn of the Crank, What Are People For?, Life is a Miracle and The Unsettling of America. He has received the Aiken Taylor Award for Modern American Poetry. Berry’s latest novel is Andy Catlett: Early Travels. His short stories, except for the most recent ones, are gathered in That Distant Land.
